India Approves HCL-Foxconn Joint Venture Semiconductor Unit

India's cabinet has approved a new semiconductor plant, a joint venture between HCL Technologies and Taiwan's Foxconn. The plant will be located near the Jewar airport in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh.
