Intel, TSMC Tentatively Agree to Form Chipmaking Joint Venture: Report

Intel and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co have reportedly reached a preliminary agreement to form a joint venture. TSMC, the world's largest contract chipmaker, will take a 20 percent stake in the new company.
