Samsung Electronics Apologises for Disappointing Profit as It Struggles in AI Chips

Samsung warned its third-quarter profit would come in below market expectations and apologised for the disappointing performance. Samsung's share price, already down more than 20 percent so far this year, fell 1.3 percent, underperforming a 0.4 percent fall in the benchmark KOSPI.
