Honor is back with its smartphone in India after a wait of almost three years. The brand has rolled out the Honor 90 5G in the Indian market and it is looking good. The design of the Honor 90 5G is inspired by jewelry design. It has two camera rings on the back which follows the ‘Mirror Luna’ idea, using circles and ellipses like the Moon is changing shapes. It comes in three colour options; Midnight Black, Diamond Silver, and Emerald Green, each of which features a different texture on the back. The smartphone was already announced in the global market back in May. Let’s check out its hardware specifications.
The Honor 90 5G is equipped with a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display that comes with a resolution of up to 1200 x 2664 pixels. The display also features 10-bit colours, HDR10+, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The Honor 90 5G runs on MagicOS 7.1 skin based on Android 13 operating system. The company has also promised two years of software update and three years of security patch update.

Furthermore, the Honor 90 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, which is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. A 5000mAh battery powers the smartphone and comes with 66-watt fast charging support. The battery also supports 5-watt reverse wired charging.
Speaking of the camera, the Honor 90 5G follows the modern trend of featuring a 200-megapixel main camera on the back. Along with that, there is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A 50-megapixel sensor has been integrated at the front for selfies.

That’s all about the specifications. Now let’s get to the prices. The Honor 90 5G launched in India at a starting price of ₹27,999 for the 8GB 256GB variant and ₹29,999 for the 12GB 512GB variant. The Honor 90 5G is also going on sale with ₹3000 instant discount on ICICI and SBI bank cards. The smartphone will go on sale on Amazon exclusively.
