Moto G54 5G to debut with Indias first Mediatek Dimensity 7020 chip on September 6

The Moto G54 5G is soon to debut in India as the company has announced the launch date of the device. The smartphone will be launching in the country on September 6. The launch of Moto G54 5G was confirmed by Motorola and Flipkart as well. However, the listings unveiled some details of the smartphone, including design, specifications and availability. Let’s have a look.

It will launch in three colour options; Mint Green, Pearl Blue, and Midnight Blue colours. The Moto G54 5G follows the modern G series design. It has a rectangular camera module on the top left corner of the back, which holds a dual camera setup and a flash. Moving to the front, a punch-hole cutout can be noticed at the centre, flat edge and a chin right below the display. As usual, the power button and volume buttons are placed on the right side of the frame and the SIM tray on the left.

Talking about specifications, the Moto G54 5G will be equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display supporting up to 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. It will be powered by the Android 13 OS, and the company has also promised the Android 14 and three years of security updates.

The Moto G54 5G is said to be the first smartphone in India launching with Mediatek Dimensity 7020 processor. The processor is coupled with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. It will come in two storage variants; 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB. A 6000mAh battery will power up the device with a support of up to 33-watt fast charging.

Moto G54 5G

Moving to the camera, this smartphone will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and PDAF, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is placed on the front. 

The Moto G54 5G will be available for grab on Motorola’s official website, Flipkart and Reliance Digital. However, Motorola has not revealed the price details yet. But Reliance Digital accidentally posted the Moto G54 5G that revealed the pricings. We can expect the smartphone to roll out at a starting price of ₹14,999 and ₹18,999 for the 12GB RAM variant.
