iQOO Z8 leaks: Will switch to LCD display from AMOLED be a good move

iQOO launched its Z series smartphone this year in March and already the leaks of its successor, iQOO Z8, are surfacing on the internet. The iQOO Z8 seems to roll out with some changes. The leaks suggest about the display, processor and battery of iQOO Z8. The company launched the Neo 8 series in China in May. After that it unveiled the iQOO 11s in India, so it seems that the launch of iQOO Z8 could happen soon.

Talking about the leaks, they suggest a LCD display with up to 144Hz refresh rate support in the upcoming iQOO Z8. However, iQOO Z7 had an AMOLED display but with much less refresh rate of 90Hz.

Next up, we might see the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 chipset in iQOO Z8  paired with up to LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone could be packed with a 5000mAh battery with up to 120-watt fast charging support. The iQOO Z7 (Chinese version) also had the same battery configurations so this could be possible in iQOO Z8.

These are the leaked specs of iQOO Z8. Now let’s take a look at iQOO Z7’s specifications and do a little comparison.

So the specs configurations of both of these smartphones differ a lot. However, the AMOLED display should not be removed from the Z series. Apart from that, it’s good to see these upgrades in the iQOO Z8, only if these rumours are true. For that, stay tuned till iQOO makes an official announcement regarding iQOO Z8.

PS5 unboxing videos show how huge the console is

To say that Sony has been a bit coy when it comes to the PlayStation 5 would be a bit of an understatement. The company only recently announced the India pricing of the console and now finally we have unboxings of the console going live and one thing is pretty clear - The console is HUGE!  So what do you get in the box? Well… besides the console itself (and the manuals), you get: DualSense controller USB Type-C charging cable for the controller HDMI 2.1 cable Power cable for the console (no bulky adapter/box) Plastic stand Now the plastic stand is used if you place the console on its side. As there is no flat surface on either side of the console, the stand will ensure that it remains still. But you can also place it when propping up the console vertically. However, it does seem like the PS5 can stand on its own vertically if need be. IGN’s unboxing video gives you a good idea of how to place the stand. All of the unboxing videos mention the size of the console because it is pr...
