Hands-on video and first impressions of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 foldables

Samsung has just dropped their latest foldable phones, the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, and they're seriously cool. Here's our first impression hands-on with both the gadgets Samsung unveiled today:

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5: Continues winning formula with more improvements

The Z Fold 5 is slimmer and lighter than ever before, making it a breeze to carry around. It's only 13.4 mm thick when folded and weighs in at a mere 253 gm. But it's not just about looks - the display is brighter too, with a peak brightness of 1750 nits.

Under the hood, it's got the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the same one you'll find in the latest flagships. This means it's got the power to handle anything you throw at it, from gaming to multitasking. It also has a larger vapour cooling chamber, so it stays cool even when you're pushing it to the limit.

The camera set is pretty impressive too, with a 12 MP ultrawide lens, a 50 MP primary lens with OIS Stabilisation, and a 10 MP OIS 3X telephoto lens. And thanks to the new processor, the image quality is even better than before.

The S-Pen has been slimmed down by 40%, making it more compact and easy to use. And the Z Fold 5 comes in three cool colours: icy blue, phantom black, and cream.

But what's really cool is the flex hinge technology. The hinge is designed like a teardrop module, which makes the crease on the foldable screen less visible. Plus, it's got IPX 8 water resistance and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back, so it can handle a bit of rough and tumble.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5: Bigger, better cover display

Now, let's talk about the Z Flip 5. This foldable phone is super slim - just 6.9 mm thick when unfolded and 17.1 mm thick when folded. It also features the same flex hinge fold as the Z Fold 5, which means the crease is less visible.

The Z Flip 5 has a massive cover display that you can use to swipe between widgets and access your quick settings. And like the Z Fold 5, it's powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, so it's super smooth and fast.

So, there you have it - the lowdown on Samsung's latest foldable phones. They're sleek, powerful, and packed with features. What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments below.

PS5 unboxing videos show how huge the console is

To say that Sony has been a bit coy when it comes to the PlayStation 5 would be a bit of an understatement. The company only recently announced the India pricing of the console and now finally we have unboxings of the console going live and one thing is pretty clear - The console is HUGE!  So what do you get in the box? Well… besides the console itself (and the manuals), you get: DualSense controller USB Type-C charging cable for the controller HDMI 2.1 cable Power cable for the console (no bulky adapter/box) Plastic stand Now the plastic stand is used if you place the console on its side. As there is no flat surface on either side of the console, the stand will ensure that it remains still. But you can also place it when propping up the console vertically. However, it does seem like the PS5 can stand on its own vertically if need be. IGN’s unboxing video gives you a good idea of how to place the stand. All of the unboxing videos mention the size of the console because it is pr...
