Sonys premium WH-1000XM5 headphone lands in India at 29,990: Know launch offers and other details

Sony has launched the WH-1000XM5 (review) in India priced at ₹29,990. For that amount of money you are getting an 8-mic setup for improved ANC, call quality, multi-point connectivity, speak-to-chat facility, and 30-hour battery life, among other things. Sony WH-1000XM5 is carrying a 30mm driver, V1 processor, and QN1 co-processor for noise canceling, improved sound clarity, and bass reproduction. There are 8 microphones in the mix with Auto NC Optimizer that takes care of auto noise cancelation. 

Four of the mics beam force audio for enhanced call quality. 

Sony has also packed in DSEE Extreme upscaling tech and high-res LDAC codec support. In case you are wondering there is support for AAC and SBC too.

With the XM5, you can also take the benefit of Bluetooth 5.2, up to 2 devices multipoint connectivity, Ambient Noise mode, in-ear detection, Adaptive Sound Control, touch controls, and support for AI assistants from Google and Amazon. You can easily connect it to Windows and Google devices using Swift Pair and Fast Pair respectively.

Last but not least, the advertised battery life from the WH-1000XM5 is 30 hours.

Sony India has priced the WH-1000XM5 at ₹29,990 but you can grab it under a special pre-booking offer for ₹26,990. This is a limited period offer valid from September 21 till October 7, 2022.
