After 10 months of flying in space, NASA's Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) -- the world's first planetary defence technology demonstration -- successfully impacted its asteroid target, the agency's first attempt to move an asteroid in space. According to GSMArena, it is described in a patent application Samsung filed with the KIPRIS (Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service) back in March 2021. With a starting price of $26,000, the newly launched Shenlan SL03 is a small electric sedan, reports auto-tech website Electrek. The front end of the vehicle, where the bonnet meets the fascia, and its dimensions look very similar to the Tesla Model 3, which is priced at nearly $40,000. New Delhi, Sep 22 (IANS) Meta-owned Instagram is working on a feature to protect users from receiving nude and explicit content in their direct messages (DMs) from unknown people. An app developer Alessandro Paluzzi first tweeted screenshots of the feature. "Instagram is working on nudity protection for chats. Technology on your device covers photos that may contain nudity in chats. Instagram can't access photos," he posted. Meta confirmed to The Verge that such a feature is in development to protect Instagram users' privacy. "We're working closely with experts to ensure these new features preserve people's privacy while giving them control over the messages they receive," a company spokesperson was quoted as saying. San Francisco, Sep 20 (IANS) Google has finally launched a new pilot programme to keep political campaign emails out of spam folders for Gmail users. Gmail users could start seeing more campaign fundraising emails in their inboxes in the next couple of days, reports Axios. Announced in June, the programme allows candidates, political party committees and leadership political action committees to apply for spam folder exemptions. The move is "partly a result of Google bowing to pressure from conservatives who claimed the company marked Republican emails as spam more often than others".
