Xiaomi 11i series confirmed to feature MediaTek Dimensity 920 chip ahead of India launch

Xiaomi 11i series is now confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset, ahead of its India launch on January 6. Xiaomi has been teasing some of the key specifications of its upcoming Xiaomi 11i lineup in India and has revealed that the phone(s) support 120W fast charging, making it one of the first phones to arrive with super-fast charging speeds.

As per the latest tweet by Manu Kumar Jain, MD, Xiaomi India, the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge is confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chip. The new Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge will be the first phone with Dimensity 920 in India at launch. The Xiaomi 11i lineup could likely consist of two phones: the standard Xiaomi 11i and the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge, however, it’s unclear if both phones will be powered by the Dimensity 920 SoC.

According to an exclusive report by India Today, the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge will be priced under Rs 30,000. The Xiaomi 11i lineup is expected to be based on the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ which launched recently in China. Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge expected specifications

The Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge is confirmed to feature a 120Hz refresh rate display along with support for 120W fast charging. The company has also confirmed the Dimensity 920 chip as the SoC of choice for this phone.

The Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge is expected to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that is topped with a layer of Gorilla Glass 5. It could have triple cameras on the back headlined by a 108MP camera followed by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. There is a 16MP selfie camera on the front as well.

The Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge could come equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that can go from 0-100% in just 15 minutes.
