Lenovo ThinkPad T14s 2021 launched with an 11th-gen Intel Core i7 processor and a 4K display

ThinkPad series of laptops is one of the fan favourites coming from the house of Lenovo, so it's hardly a surprise that the company keeps this line up updated with the latest hardware. The company has now updated the ThinkPad T series in China with the launch of the ThinkPad T14s 2021 notebook.

Lenovo ThinkPad T14s (2021) Specifications

The ThinkPad T14s (2021) is a thin and light ultrabook that's now equipped with the 11th-gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor. This is the same processor that's powering a lot of new ultrabooks including the ASUS ExpertBook B9400 that we reviewed just recently. The laptop is armed to teeth but it lacks Intel's EVO branding. It packs up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB SSD. The laptop weighs 1.28kgs and is about 16.1mm thick. The laptop only supports 4G, which we think is also a missed opportunity for making this a future-proof machine.

Lenovo ThinkPad T14s (2021)

As for the display, the ThinkPad T14s (2021) comes with a 14-inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The standard variant of the laptop is equipped with a 1080p panel, however, you can configure this with a 4K UHD panel with a peak brightness of up to 500 nits and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The ThinkPad T14s (2021) comes with a fingerprint scanner and has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-A port, and an HDMI out port. The laptop also supports WiFi 6, which is a standard for newer laptops that are coming out.

Lenovo ThinkPad T14s (2021) Pricing & Availability

Lenovo has launched the ThinkPad T14s (2021) in China for a starting price of 8899 yuan which roughly translates to about Rs 1 Lakh. You can get it in either the traditional black magnesium/carbon chassis or a grey aluminium one. The laptop is now available for pre-ordering and you can learn more about it on Lenovo's website. As of now, there's no word about the launch of this particular notebook in the Indian market.

PS5 unboxing videos show how huge the console is

To say that Sony has been a bit coy when it comes to the PlayStation 5 would be a bit of an understatement. The company only recently announced the India pricing of the console and now finally we have unboxings of the console going live and one thing is pretty clear - The console is HUGE!  So what do you get in the box? Well… besides the console itself (and the manuals), you get: DualSense controller USB Type-C charging cable for the controller HDMI 2.1 cable Power cable for the console (no bulky adapter/box) Plastic stand Now the plastic stand is used if you place the console on its side. As there is no flat surface on either side of the console, the stand will ensure that it remains still. But you can also place it when propping up the console vertically. However, it does seem like the PS5 can stand on its own vertically if need be. IGN’s unboxing video gives you a good idea of how to place the stand. All of the unboxing videos mention the size of the console because it is pr...
