Everything we know about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite

Recently, an alleged Geekbench listing of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite was spotted on the benchmarking platform. The listing reveals some key details about the tablet that is supposedly a toned-down variant of the premium Galaxy Tab S7.

According to the listing, first spotted by MySmartPrice, the tablet will run Android 11 and will be powered by an octa-core chipset along with 4GB RAM. However, the listing does not come as a surprise as the tablet has been mentioned in other reports as well. One of such reports claimed that Samsung has been working on a mid-range tablet that will come in Wi-Fi, LTE and 5G variants.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite leaked specifications

Thanks to previous reports combined with the recent Geekbench listing reveal, we now have a clear picture of what the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite might offer.

The alleged Geekbench listing of model number SM-T736B corroborates with the previous report, which claimed that the 5G model of the tablet will have the same model number. It also revealed that other models are said to be named SM-T730 (Wi-Fi) and SM-T735 (LTE).

The Geekbench listing reveals that the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite 5G has scored 650 points in single and 1694 points in multi-core tests, respectively. As already mentioned, the listing also reveals that the Galaxy Tab 7 Lite will have 4GB of RAM and will run Android 11.

Other known specifications as per multiple reports include an Adreno 619 GPU and the CPU has a max clock speed of 2.21GHz, which drops a hint at Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset as it also falls in the mid-range category.

There are some speculations making rounds that the tab might be named Tab S8e instead of S7 Lite 5G. Also, it is reported that Samsung may also launch a bigger variant of the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite as a Plus variant. The larger variant, however, is said to have the same hardware as the alleged Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, but a bigger display. For those unaware, Samsung launched the Plus variant of its flagship Tab S7 tablet as well. The Galaxy Tab S7 Lite is speculated to come out sometime in June this year.

Samsung currently has a dominant position in the Android tablet market, and especially premium tablets. In the past, we've seen multiple tablet options across segments from Samsung, which makes the existence of the S7 Lite even more likely.

PS5 unboxing videos show how huge the console is

To say that Sony has been a bit coy when it comes to the PlayStation 5 would be a bit of an understatement. The company only recently announced the India pricing of the console and now finally we have unboxings of the console going live and one thing is pretty clear - The console is HUGE!  So what do you get in the box? Well… besides the console itself (and the manuals), you get: DualSense controller USB Type-C charging cable for the controller HDMI 2.1 cable Power cable for the console (no bulky adapter/box) Plastic stand Now the plastic stand is used if you place the console on its side. As there is no flat surface on either side of the console, the stand will ensure that it remains still. But you can also place it when propping up the console vertically. However, it does seem like the PS5 can stand on its own vertically if need be. IGN’s unboxing video gives you a good idea of how to place the stand. All of the unboxing videos mention the size of the console because it is pr...
