Garena Free Fire to offer Bermuda Remastered map, free Diamond Royale Vouchers and more on Jan 1, 2021

It looks like Garena has a lot in store for Free Fire players in the new year, starting from Day one itself. The company has lots of events planned for January 1 2021, including free giveaways of Diamond Royale Vouchers, the return of a classic weapon and a brand-new version of their classic map. Here’s what’s happening on that day.

Bermuda Remaster

A new version of the classic Bermuda map will be available to players from January 1 onwards. As one might expect, the new version of the map will see an overhaul in terms of detail as well as some additions like buildings and structures. The new map should allow for a shift and strategy, while adding new life into a classic. Players can also download the new map in advance, which will allow them to play the new map the moment it is made available.

Free Diamond Royale Vouchers

As an added bonus, players who log into Free Fire on January 1 will get five free Diamond Royale Vouchers. These can then be used in Royale to try and win prizes like skins or outfits. It should be noted that these vouchers will only be available for those who log in on that day.

Return of the Scythe

The Scythe melee weapon will be making a return to Garena Free Fire on January 1 as well. The new weapon will be added to Bermuda Remastered and players will have to search for the weapon if they want to use it.

Besides all this, Garena has also announced that it will be bringing One Punch Man themed outfits and items to the game soon. However, the exact details of what will be added are still unknown. Free Fire recently added a new character called Chrono to the game. The new character is based on the popular football player, Cristiano Ronaldo and comes with a special ability called Time Warp. You can learn more about the character here.
