Vivo V20 Pro with 44MP dual selfie camera confirmed to launch on December 2 in India

Vivo V20 Pro is confirmed to launch on December 2 in India as was rumoured previously. The V20 Pro was announced in Thailand back in September with 44MP dual selfie camera and Snapdragon 765G to boot. Vivo’s V20 series has already been unveiled globally with the V20 launching in October followed by V20 SE earlier this month in India.

According to a tweet by the company, the Vivo V20 Pro 5G is set to launch in India on December 2 at 12 noon. The V20 Pro features a Full HD screen, triple cameras on the back and a high-capacity battery that supports fast charging. Earlier reports have also allegedly leaked the price of the upcoming phone as it is expected to retail at Rs 29,990 in India. The phone goes up against the likes of the OnePlus Nord that currently sells starting at Rs 24,999 and is powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor that also powers the V20 Pro.

Moreover, the V20 Pro will be available to purchase from Amazon India as has been revealed through banners on the shopping platform. The phone is also expected to be available to purchase from Vivo India’s official website after the launch.

Vivo V20 Pro specifications

Vivo V20 Pro features a 6.44-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution display that uses an AMOLED panel. There is a wide notch upfront that houses the two selfie cameras and the screen is also home to a fingerprint reader.

The phone measures 7.49 millimetres in thickness and weighs 170 grams. The back panel is made from AG Matte Glass that has a matte finish which makes it fingerprint-resistant.

The V20 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It runs on FuntouchOS 11 which is based on Android 10.

Vivo V20 Pro comes with a triple camera setup on the back that consists of a primary 64MP camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, there is a primary 44MP selfie camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 105-degree field-of-view.

The V20 Pro is powered by a 4,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging out-of-the-box. It is available in three colours-- Sunset Melody, midnight Jazz and Moonlight Sonata colours.
