Vi Rs 1197 plan brings with it 15GB data per day along with weekend rollover

Vi has a Rs 1197 plan that brings with it validity of 180 days, truly unlimited calling and 1.5GB data per day. The good thing about the plan is that if you don't consume the 1.5GB data in the day, it gets added to the weekend rollover.

What is weekend rollover?

With weekend data rollover, a user can carry forward his/her unused data from the week over to the weekend. Let’s take the data available on the above plan as an example. The above Rs 1197 plan brings with it 1.5GB data per day. Say you use only 0.5GB data on the first day, the remaining 1 GB isn't lost. All the unused data from the rest of the week is added to the weekend kitty. So, on Saturday, you will have access to the accumulated data of the week along with the 1.5GB of Saturday. You can understand weekend data rollover in more detail here.

Weekend data rollover isn't limited to the Rs 1197 plan. In fact, the Rs 1197 plan is an addition to a curation of plans available with weekend data rollover. The plans with weekend data rollover start at Rs 249 and go up to Rs 2595. You can check out the complete list here.

Those that want to check their weekly accumulated data can do so on the Vi app. According to Vi, “Weekend Rollover data accumulated will be available in the APP widget section. You can also dial *199# to know your balance”

If you are a postpaid user, then know that there are a lot of postpaid plans from different service providers that offer data rollover on a monthly basis. These plans range from an affordable Rs 399 per month and go above Rs 1000 per month. You can check out our in-depth comparison of the postpaid plans here.

PS5 unboxing videos show how huge the console is

The company only recently announced the India pricing of the console and now finally we have unboxings of the console going live and one thing is pretty clear - The console is HUGE!  So what do you get in the box? Well… besides the console itself (and the manuals), you get: DualSense controller USB Type-C charging cable for the controller HDMI 2.1 cable Power cable for the console (no bulky adapter/box) Plastic stand Now the plastic stand is used if you place the console on its side. As there is no flat surface on either side of the console, the stand will ensure that it remains still. But you can also place it when propping up the console vertically. However, it does seem like the PS5 can stand on its own vertically if need be. IGN’s unboxing video gives you a good idea of how to place the stand. All of the unboxing videos mention the size of the console because it is pr...
