Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition launched in India starting at Rs 9,999

Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition has launched in India as a special edition of the phone that was announced back in August alongside the Realme C12. The only difference between the Realme C15 regular variant and the Qualcomm Edition is that the latter is powered by the Snapdragon 460 processor instead of the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC.

Apart from this key difference, the C15 Qualcomm Edition is the same as the regular model featuring an HD+ display, quad cameras on the back and a high-capacity battery to boot. Let’s take a brief look at the pricing, specifications and availability of the Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition.

Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition price and availability

The Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition is priced starting at Rs 9,999 for the base variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and Rs 10,999 for the 4GB+64GB model. As a part of its ongoing sale though, the C15 Qualcomm Edition will retail at a discounted price of Rs 9,499 and Rs 10,499 respectively.

Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition features a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) resolution display which is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass. It has a waterdrop notch on the top for the selfie camera which gives it an 88.7% screen-to-body-ratio. The phone measures 9.8 millimetres in thickness and weighs 209 grams.

 

This special edition of the C15 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor with an octa-core CPU clocked running at upto 1.8GHz speeds. This is paired with upto 4GB RAM and upto 64GB storage options to choose from and users can expand the storage further by using microSD card of upto 256GB storage. The C15 runs on Android 10 based RealmeUI 1.0 out-of-the-box.

Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition has the same quad-camera setup that consists of a primary 13MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 119-degree field-of-view, a 2MP monochrome camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera housed within the waterdrop notch cutout. The rear cameras can record in upto 1080p at 30FPS.

The phone has a fingerprint reader on the back and is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging out-of-the-box.
