Oppo A31 2020 with Helio P35 chipset, triple rear cameras and more launched in India

Oppo has announced the expansion of its A-series with the launch of Oppo A31 (2020). It is a budget phone that comes in two configurations. For reference, Oppo A31 was launched back in 2015. The 2020 variant comes with triple rear camera setup and features a waterdrop-style display notch. Further, Oppo has provided a gradient finish as well as a physical fingerprint sensor. 

Oppo A31 (2020) features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) display with 20:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, paired with 4GB and 6GB of RAM options. It sports a triple rear camera setup: a 12MP primary sensor + a 2MP depth shooter + a 2MP macro lens. On the front lies an 8MP selfie shooter. The handset runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1.2 on top.

As for the storage, it comes equipped with up to 128GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) through a dedicated slot. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Further, it packs a 4230mAh battery that is touted to deliver “all-day usage” on a single charge. As for connectivity options, it includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, MicroUSB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. 

The Oppo A31 (2020) is priced at Rs  11,490 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, while its 6GB + 128GB option carries a price tag of Rs 13,990. The former will go on sale in India starting Saturday, February 29. Further, the 6GB + 128GB variant will be available for purchase from the second week of March.

Launch offers include a five percent instant cashback using Yes Bank credit card for both EMI and non-EMI options on Amazon, Flipkart, TataCliq, Snapdeal, and Paytm Mall between February 29 and March 31.
