Nokia 82 5G could come with Snapdragon 765, 64MP main camera and more

HMD Global has been taking the stage on Mobile World Congress (MWC) for two years now. The company unveils new devices each at the exhibition each year. This year is expected to be no different as the company is expected to announce multiple devices like the Nokia 1.3, Nokia 5.2 and Nokia 8.2 5G at the MWC 2020. The report also claims that Nokia will announce an original series device alongside the upgrades.

According to a report from Nokiamob.net, the 4G edition of the Nokia 8.2 has been cancelled. As for the 5G variant, it is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC. The design could be similar to that of the Nokia 7.2 phone from 2019. Earlier reports have claimed that the smartphone could sport a 64MP primary camera and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It may have 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. The device is rumoured to come equipped with 128GB of internal storage.

The Nokia 8.2 5G may come with a 32MP selfie shooter. It is said that the phone could be coming with a pOLED or LCD screen and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. While the smartphone was rumoured to feature a curved display, the new report claims that it has been found to be incorrect. The device is tipped to pack a 3500mAh battery. It may also support fast charging.

The Nokia 8.2 5G is said to lack support for wireless charging and a breathing light notification. It is expected to come equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack though. The Nokia 8.2 5G is said to be priced under the $500 mark in international markets. There is no word on the availability of the Nokia 8.2 5G in India yet.
