Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC spotted on Geekbench

Samsung may be looking forward to launching the ‘lite’ variant of its flagship, the Galaxy S10. As we reported earlier, the South Korean manufacturer is planning to launch even more versions of its Galaxy S10. Now, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has been spotted on Geekbench. While the smartphone is still a mystery, a Samsung device bearing the SM-G770F model number has appeared on a Geekbench 5 listing, which has revealed some details about the Galaxy S10 Lite.

According to the Geekbench 5 listing, Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM. It may run Android 10 out of the box. The smartphone managed 724 points in the single-core department and 2,604 in the multi-core test. Interestingly, the scores are higher than both Exynos and Snapdragon version of the regular S10.

A recent report also revealed the colours of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. It is expected to come in ‘some familiar paint jobs’, including white, black, and blue. Furthermore, green and yellow variants, as seen in the Galaxy S10e, could be added in the future.

From what we know thus far, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite could be a repackaged Galaxy A91. It is tipped to feature a  6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. As for the optics, the smartphone is said to sport a triple camera setup with a 48MP main shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 and phase-detection autofocus. Further, it may have a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.2, and a 5MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2.

On the front, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is expected to have a single 32MP shooter with an aperture of f/2.2. Moreover, it is expected to pack a 4500 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging technology.

As there is no flat surface on either side of the console, the stand will ensure that it remains still. But you can also place it when propping up the console vertically. However, it does seem like the PS5 can stand on its own vertically if need be. IGN’s unboxing video gives you a good idea of how to place the stand. All of the unboxing videos mention the size of the console because it is pr...
