OnePlus 7T to get 960fps slow motion, 4K video recording on wide-angle camera with a future update

Soon after its official launch, OnePlus 7T is all set to be able to record video on the wide-angle lens as well as a 960fps video recording feature. The device was announced last week, and it went on sale in the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale 2019. It has a starting price of Rs 37,999 and already comes with some notable improvements from its predecessor.

According to a report by XDA-Developers, OnePlus 7T will soon support recording 720p slow-motion videos at 960fps. The previous generation of OnePlus smartphones including OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro support slow-motion video capture at 720p@480fps. Therefore, the new feature on OnePlus 7T will enable it to record videos twice as slow. However, the report says it is not confirmed yet, but highly likely.

Another camera feature coming to the OnePlus 7T is the ability to record 4K@30fps videos from the ultra-wide-angle camera. For reference, the OnePlus 7 Pro also has the ability to record wide-angle videos.

The OnePlus 7T features a  6.55-inch AMOLED 90Hz display that has a 20:9 display aspect ratio. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. It packs a 3800mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T, which is said to be 18 percent faster than the Warp Charge 30.

On the optics front, the OnePlus 7T sports a triple rear camera setup:  a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with an f/1.6 aperture lens + a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens + a 12MP telephoto lens with f/2.2 aperture lens that enables up to 2x optical zoom. It has features like Nightscape and Macro photography. On the front lies a 16MP Sony IMX472 sensor that supports EIS.

The OnePlus 7T is currently priced at Rs 37,999 and Rs 39,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variants, respectively.

PS5 unboxing videos show how huge the console is

The company only recently announced the India pricing of the console and now finally we have unboxings of the console going live and one thing is pretty clear - The console is HUGE!  So what do you get in the box? Well… besides the console itself (and the manuals), you get: DualSense controller USB Type-C charging cable for the controller HDMI 2.1 cable Power cable for the console (no bulky adapter/box) Plastic stand Now the plastic stand is used if you place the console on its side. As there is no flat surface on either side of the console, the stand will ensure that it remains still. But you can also place it when propping up the console vertically. However, it does seem like the PS5 can stand on its own vertically if need be. IGN’s unboxing video gives you a good idea of how to place the stand. All of the unboxing videos mention the size of the console because it is pr...
