Huawei Mate 30 Pro renders suggest circular quad-rear camera setup, front triple cameras and more

Huawei is reportedly gearing up to launch its next flagship, the Mate 30 series of handsets on September 19. Ahead of the official announcements, the upcoming smartphones have been leaked numerous times and you can add one more to the list. A contributor on SlashLeaks has posted an alleged promo image of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, which hints at a circular quad-camera setup on the back. In addition, the image showcases the front of the phone, which is seen featuring a standard squarish notch. However, it houses three cameras on the front as opposed to its predecessor, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, which has a single camera on the front.

Huawei is expected to ship the same camera that is used on the P30 Pro, which consists of a quad camera setup. The Huawei P30 Pro features a 40 MP main sensor that has an f/1.6 aperture lens, an 8MP periscope camera with  f/3.4 aperture, a 20MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a TOF 3D sensor. However, a previous report suggests that the Huawei Mate 30 Pro could feature two custom-made 40MP cameras on the back, instead of just one. The handset is most likely to use the company’s patented RYYB pixel layout.

The Mate 30 series is also expected to feature the Huawei Mate 30, which would be the smaller sibling of the Mate 30 Pro. The device was previously spotted in a couple of live images and is touted to sport a waterfall screen design. The leaked images showcase a pronounced curvature towards the handset’s edges, however, the Mate 30 Pro is expected to come with a curvier screen than the Mate 30. You can check out the previously leaked image of the handset here.

Some information about the device’s charging capability has also popped up online. As per a tipster on Weibo, the Mate 30 might ship with 25W wireless charging support, which is even higher than the 15W wireless fast charging that is currently available on Samsung’s latest Note flagship.

PS5 unboxing videos show how huge the console is

To say that Sony has been a bit coy when it comes to the PlayStation 5 would be a bit of an understatement. The company only recently announced the India pricing of the console and now finally we have unboxings of the console going live and one thing is pretty clear - The console is HUGE!  So what do you get in the box? Well… besides the console itself (and the manuals), you get: DualSense controller USB Type-C charging cable for the controller HDMI 2.1 cable Power cable for the console (no bulky adapter/box) Plastic stand Now the plastic stand is used if you place the console on its side. As there is no flat surface on either side of the console, the stand will ensure that it remains still. But you can also place it when propping up the console vertically. However, it does seem like the PS5 can stand on its own vertically if need be. IGN’s unboxing video gives you a good idea of how to place the stand. All of the unboxing videos mention the size of the console because it is pr...
