Vodafone introduces Rs 1699 recharge plan offering unlimited calls, 1GB data per day

Highlights: Vodafone has launched a Rs 1699 prepaid plan in some circles. It is the same as the Rs 1499 plan and comes with a validity of 1 year. The Vodafone Plan competes with the Rs 1,699 plans from Reliance Jio and Airtel. Keeping pace with the constantly changing framework in the telecom world, Vodafone has launched the Rs 1699 plan in select circles. The plan essentially matches with the offerings from its competitor Airtel, but offers 500MB data less than what Jio is offering. As per a listing on the Vodafone website, the plan gives users unlimited local, STD and roaming calls within India with 1GB 4G/3G Data per day as well as 100 SMS per day for 365 days. This is the same as the Rs 1499 plan that the telecom giant launched earlier this month. This means that those who wish to get the benefits of the plan will now have to pay Rs 200 more. Unfortunately, the plan is only available in a few circles, like Kerala, and those who wish to purchase it, can directly go to the Vodafone India website or recharge via the Vodafone app. Some circles still show both the Rs 1499 and Rs 1699 recharge options. As mentioned, this Vodafone plan will compete with the Rs 1699 plan offered by Reliance Jio. The Reliance Jio Plan offers customers unlimited local and national calls without any FUP along with 100 local and national SMS’ daily. However, Jio is giving 1.5GB data per day, which means that Jio provides 182.5GB of additional data benefits over those provided by Airtel and Vodafone. The Jio Plan also gives access to JioTV, JioMovies and JioSaavn Music to its customers. Related Read: Airtel Vs Reliance Jio Vs Vodafone Vs Idea: Best prepaid plans compared

PS5 unboxing videos show how huge the console is

The company only recently announced the India pricing of the console and now finally we have unboxings of the console going live and one thing is pretty clear - The console is HUGE!  So what do you get in the box? Well… besides the console itself (and the manuals), you get: DualSense controller USB Type-C charging cable for the controller HDMI 2.1 cable Power cable for the console (no bulky adapter/box) Plastic stand Now the plastic stand is used if you place the console on its side. As there is no flat surface on either side of the console, the stand will ensure that it remains still. But you can also place it when propping up the console vertically. However, it does seem like the PS5 can stand on its own vertically if need be. IGN’s unboxing video gives you a good idea of how to place the stand. All of the unboxing videos mention the size of the console because it is pr...
